Who are you, and what do you stand for?
Hello, my name is Rebecca Farkas! I am a discourse analyst and brand strategist passionate about brand identity, creative problem-solving, and language. I have always felt strongly about the power language has to shape identity and culture (and vice versa!). The way you present yourself dramatically impacts how others see and interact with you. I use insights from discourse analysis, linguistics, cognitive science, and psychology to find creative solutions to branding and communication challenges.
I graduated cum laude from Wellesley College in 2017 with a B.A. in Cognitive and Linguistic Sciences (minor in Psychology) and received my M.A. in Language & Communication at Georgetown University in 2019. In other words, I've spent years studying how successful communicators present themselves and build relationships, as well as where and how breakdowns in communication can occur. And with additional experience in content creation, digital strategy, and project and community management, I am perfectly equipped with the skills needed to help you share your story with the world.
I bring my passion to everything I do—from constructing my own language based on Game of Thrones to leading successful initiatives in my professional ventures. Check out my pages on Digital Strategy, Content Creation, Branding & Design, and Language Research to see examples of my work.
Do I sound like a good fit for your project or team? Let's get in touch!
