Georgetown University CETS
I initiated a logo redesign and overall visual rebranding for CETS (Classroom Educational Technology Services), which is a department under the Office of the University Registrar at Georgetown University. The goals were to:
• Update the design and improve overall cohesiveness across departmental signage and documents;
• Bring the visual branding more in line with larger institutional guidelines;
• Improve name recognition and knowledge of the department's responsibilities.
In addition to new branded materials, I designed infographics that illustrate the work the department has done to prepare Georgetown University for in-person and hybrid classes during the pandemic.
I also coordinated with the university's Communications Office, Facilities Office, and Office of the University Registrar to produce over 130 classroom seating diagrams illustrating COVID-19 social distancing requirements in all general purpose classrooms across Georgetown's main campus.

Visual Branding
The founder of WesterosCraft wanted to refresh their logo. He asked for two things:
• A new typeface;
• A design that is more legible at smaller sizes.
For the typeface, we chose Esmeralda, which has a fantasy vibe without being overly affected or associated with an existing franchise.
For the logo, I proposed a simplification of the existing design with a clarified color story and cleaner shapes and lines. Like the original, it is inspired by decorated initials in medieval illuminated manuscripts. I made variants of this new logo for use on the WesterosCraft website and application, as well as on social media and in branded merchandise.
Brand Voice
In conjunction with WesterosCraft's founder, I developed a brand voice for the server to be referenced in all promotional materials, and on social media and the server's website. WesterosCraft is a creative multiplayer Minecraft server with a diverse global community that is dedicated to building the entire world of Westeros from George R.R. Martin's A Song of Ice and Fire/Game of Thrones at the highest levels of immersion and historical realism.
Development of the voice happened as a result of careful analysis of WesterosCraft's relationship with its community and wider audience across social media. Community is the server's biggest strength, and it has grown strong over the past 10 years. The server primarily uses content to build its community, and as such the voice is welcoming, informative, and friendly. It has a nerdy sense of humor, along with a friendly "sibling rivalry" with other fantasy world creative multiplayer servers.
Additional Design Work
I designed merchandise for WesterosCraft on Redbubble using existing and original graphics, including graphics for The Rookery based on illustrations from medieval manuscripts. These designs emphasize WesterosCraft's commitments to inclusion, historical realism, and community fun.
Independent & Personal Work
I have been commissioned to design logos for small businesses and mascots and custom emojis for Discord servers. Below is some of my commissioned and personal work.
